These Paintings fall into their own category for while they also follow a naturalistic way of depiction, they do so to allow access to spiritual questions wich they are to evoke, rather than to imitate real events. The painted scenes are closely related to the events collected in the bible, their subjects are therefore highly narrative and can even be understood as allegories or typologies. With depcitions that are relying far more on purpose orientated composition, rather than photographic inspiration, these paintings are both: wild exaggerations of aesthetic expression and revelations of personal belief.
